Our topic this month is: Navigating Scaling Agile Landscapes

There is a lot of ways to be Agile! One of the most talked about ways is Scaled Agile. If you or your company have been wondering how to navigate this type of landscape; this speaker session is for you and your team.

During the presentation we will discuss the Scaled Agile timeline and why companies are needing to scale. We will cover several Agile frameworks (from light to complex) and share insights from surveys on the Scaled frameworks usages and challenges.
There will be a discussion on what makes a framework an Agile one, other related aspects and book recommendations for further education.

Our community mentor and speaker will be Karam Labban.
Karam accumulated experience in numerous industries in the US as an Agile Advocate, Agile Coach, and before that as traditional PMO/PMP and developer. He Trained under two of the Agile thought leaders: Sally Elatta and Mike Cohn and earned several Agile certificates during his Agile transformation journey.

Karam likes to share his knowledge and learn from others by frequently speaking on Agile topics at technical conferences, companies, and PMI Chapters. He loves teaching Agile certification courses and has held adjunct Faculty / Lecturer positions at multiple universities.

He holds a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology Management from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Management and Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Come join us and learn a new way to engage teams and improve your skills.
