Legacy Trail: Pompano Trailhead to the Venice Train Depot

We'll meet at the Pompano Trailhead of the Legacy Trail: 601 Pompano Ave, Sarasota, FL 34237.

Parking Information: We will meet in the parking area closest to the Legacy Trail. You will pass three baseball diamonds, then the street curves to the left. Take your third right. The pickleball courts will be on your left and the parking adjacent to the trail will be straight ahead.

The Ride: We'll head 17 miles south from the Pompano Trailhead of the Legacy Trail to the 1927 Historic Venice Train Depot where we'll take a break and head back. There are restrooms at the train depot.

Breakfast after TBD. Given the holdiay, we may have to be flexible on where we go to eat.

We are recreational bicyclists. Rides start from different locations in Tampa Bay led by volunteers. You must wear a helmet and exhibit safe riding. Cyclists are subject to the same traffic laws as drivers. Be prepared with water (it's going to be hot), snacks & a spare tube/flat kit.
