Plan to arrive at 8:30 - 8:45 as we leave promptly at 9.

One of our most favorite and popular rides! Starting off in beautiful Brooker Creek Preserve off of Keystone Rd and continuing on the Pinellas and Starkey Gap trail to Starkey Park. Before entering the Park we will stop at the Starkey Market for fresh coffee and treats and bathrooms are available. Then a another few miles to the park. Depending on the groups interest we can do the additional 14 miles (seven miles each way) in the back of the Park on fairly new, wide paved trails in a quiet and serene wooded setting with no streets to cross. (This part is a real treat if you are tired of the continual stops on the Pinellas trail and the sound of traffic and congestion of other riders). We turn around at the end, at the SunCoast trail where there are nice restrooms and water bottle fills.

This is a ride for everyone: Average speed will be 12-14 and if enough riders are available we can entertain another subgroup of faster riders with a separate ride group leader from a volunteer rider.

You must wear a helmet and bring enough fluids to stay hydrated. Check tires for proper pressure, Two water bottles are recommended. Bring some energy treats if you wish for fuel.
