ELFERS SPUR TRAIL OPENING

The long awaited opening of the Elfers Spur is here!
Let’s join in the festivities of the ribbon cutting. We’ll meet at the Tarpon Tavern 21 N Safford Ave, Tarpon Springs at 10 am. They have free designated public parking. Roll out at 10:15 am. Ride to the ceremony location and then on to the Anclote River trails. We can decide as a group the total distance we ride.
There will be many unknowns on this ride so, be prepared to be flexible. If for some reason the ceremony is cancelled and the spur does not open…we will ride to the Eastlake/Keystone area or on to Brooker Creek.
This is a no drop ride at a casual 10-14 mph.
Please come hydrated and with plenty of water and nourishments. Some may wish to eat at the Tavern after the ride.
