Ride Reopened Elfers Spur

Reopening Of Elfers Spur Extension! Let’s ride on newly reopened Elfers Spur off of Pinellas Trail, north Tarpon Springs and into Pasco County. This connection with new Pasco County trails opened a couple of weeks ago after being closed off for four years due to river erosion. This reopened trail connector provides access to Anclote River Coastal Trail.

We’ll ride est 22 miles. Let’s try average of 12 mph. We’ll ride to Key Vista Nature Park, Anclote Gulf Park, and Anclote River Park. If we’re lucky maybe we’ll witness some awesome Florida Man boat ramp action at Anclote River Park 😲

Group will decide on lunch venue on return for those interested. Greek or seafood options. Bring lock for your bike.
