Welcome to our FIRST EVER WORKSHOP the group has done!

It’s the last event category of the group that we have left to do that’s been untouched and I’m super excited.

There will be a huge umbrella of all our different workshop options that the group will have to offer but the main ones we’ll be doing are our very own COOKING CLASSES!

This will be the West Indian Flavors experience.

Menu: Curry Chicken with steamed vegetables & coconut rice

We’ll have a private class to ourselves with about one to three chefs teaching and assisting us along the way.

The class will be about two and half hours long.

You have the option to actually get the hands on experience or just spectate and eat everything we make. The choice is yours but the package pricing will be different. The hands on will be more and the spectate one will be less.

The whole itinerary breakdown is below step by step:

Cooking with Ms Princess – Trinidadian Curry Chicken Experience

Length: 2 hours 30 minutes
Setup: 5 guests per table • 1 cooktop per table • Ingredients prepped into stations

0:00 – 0:20 | Arrival, Mix & Mingle
• Guests welcomed with charcuterie boards to enjoy while mingling
• Light background music (Caribbean/Island vibes)
• Brief introduction of Ms Princess, Cooking with Ms Princess, and overview of class

0:20 – 0:35 | Class Kickoff
• Share the menu: Trinidadian Curry Chicken, Coconut Rice, Steamed Vegetables, plus a Chef’s Choice dessert
• Cultural story: Trinidad curry history + how it differs from Indian curry
• Safety briefing (cooktop use, knife handling, hygiene)
• Guests are seated at tables (5 per table) and introduced to their cooking stations

0:35 – 1:05 | Ingredient Prep
• Chop onions, garlic, peppers, herbs
• Season chicken with green seasoning & spices
• Rinse rice for coconut rice
• Prep vegetables for steaming

1:05 – 1:50 | Cooking the Curry Chicken
• Demonstration: how to “burn” curry powder in oil before adding chicken
• Guests cook curry at their tables
• Instructor circulates to guide flavor balancing, texture, and spice level

1:50 – 2:15 | Coconut Rice & Steamed Vegetables
• Guests start coconut rice (rice + coconut milk + seasonings)
• Steam vegetables lightly
• Dishes finish around the same time so plating can happen together

2:15 – 2:30 | Plating, Dining & Dessert
• Guests plate their own dishes: rice base, curry chicken, vegetables on side, garnish
• Everyone sits down together to enjoy
• Chef’s Choice Dessert served (premade, light + sweet)
• Closing remarks, photos, discount codes / next class invitations

Tickets will be available soon and this package contains the event admission, getting our group admitted as a single party together and being able to host for everyone.

This is a first come first serve in regards to payments. I will prioritize who actually pays first over members who just simply RSVP and do nothing else.
