Rainbow River Field Trip Mash Up (Tubing, Hiking & Snorkeling)

It’s time for our next field trip and for us to make up from last year and head out to Rainbow River!

We’ll have everyone meet at Citrus Park Mall and have everyone hang there for about 15-30 minutes until we get a move on.

It gives people time to sleep in and the ability to still come along with us for the day.

We highly encourage everybody carpooling.

We plan on having everybody meet and leave at the same time so we can all ride out together in our fleet!

The plan will be to get there around noon.

It will be about $25 for a tube rental and to take the tram. It’s a first come and first serve basis.

Enjoy the scenic views, wildlife and the ability to hit the swings while we’re floating down!

Make sure you bring sunscreen, snacks, etc.

It’s about a two mile two hour float from where the shuttle drops us off to begin and to back from where we first arrived.

Afterwards, we’ll drive to the Headsprings ($4-5 entry a vehicle) where you’re able to go snorkeling, swimming and hike around 2.5 miles to see some man-made waterfalls.

The Headsprings part of the park appears to be open until sunset so that’s where we’ll wrap up for the day and then maybe go out to eat afterwards before we head back home.
