Formerly - Getting Together While 6 Feet Apart
This is a group for anyone interested in sports, socials, kayaking, biking, or other outdoor activities that we can do while still social distancing. There are a lot of groups for experienced people but this group is mostly for beginners or newbies to various activities, however, all skill levels are welcome. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Looking forward to exploring the outdoors with everybody - while still respecting social distancing guidelines and staying outdoors.

You'll also leave with a fun 📷 group photo & 🪃 boomerang every week!
Expect 15-20+ people (and growing), many regulars not on Meetup.Optional Social Hour: Afterward we go to TRIVIA at nearby Gen X Tavern (2 block walk) on 1st & 3rd Mondays. Other weeks, we may walk to a nearby restaurant, stroll the riverwalk, hang in the park, etc.
What: 60-min group workout in the park

When: Every Monday, 6:00-7:00pm (weather permitting)
What to Bring: water
Parking: Poe Garage (most convenient, $ rates) or nearby lots/street parkingFREE event, open to the public, all skill levels welcome! HIIT in the Park is part of the lineup of FREE Community Fitness classes offered by the City of Tampa!
Meetup Host: I'm just an attendee but have been going every week for over a year now and love welcoming new people into our fun social group. Super positive energy, awesome people, and a great workout! Thanecha (instructor) is supportive and encouraging throughout and can adapt any exercise as needed.
