Issues in the 2020 Election: What are voters' concerns? Florida issues?

Details

This is absolutely the most unique election in modern times. The whole world is in the middle of a pandemic, with the U.S. the hottest spot. So traditional election events are nonexistant - no real rallies, campaign stops, partially virtual conventions. There is unrest in the streets over racial tensions and strong arm tactics by law enforcement. Presidential tweets that discount scientists' advice. Not much messaging from Democratic candidate Biden.

So what are the issues that voters will consider? Right now there's lots of talk about the actual election.

Republicans and Democrats largely disagree over the seriousness of several major problems currently facing the country, even as the United States grapples with issues including a surge in new coronavirus cases and an economic recession. Democrats' tie for the main concerns: racial issues and how they are handled by governments and the coronavirus, with ethics in government coming in as a close third. For Republicans, ethics in government is their highest concern, with budget deficits second and violent crime third.

There's not much happening on the Florida ballot besides congressional representatives.

Be ready to discuss your main concerns and issues, as well as what you think others will be considering.
