Tampa Bay Vegan Fitness Club #TBVFC

*IF* this group has a few dozen members and around a dozen or so people who want to meet up for salads and a chit chat for an hour or so at noon on the 4th of July, then let's do this!

We can go to the beach afterwards!

This is a new group, so right now I am using the free trial from meetup, which caps me at 10 members per event and only 2 events per month, but that will change soon, if a ton of people join, that is.

I wanted to create a Vegan Community right here in Tampa Bay on Facebook (and eventually other socials) that targets mostly Millennials and Gen-Z who are physically active and are looking to meet new people, make new friends, network, learn new recipes and date like-minded people in mostly sporty, outdoor and athletic environments, and right here in this actual Facebook group.
If you’re vegan, love animals, eat plants, lean left politically, and care about climate change, and ultimately already do things like running, biking, going to the gym, yoga, Pilates, boxing, martial arts, ballet, dance, etc, and prefer to meet fitness minded people on Strava rather than Instagram, but struggle to find those who are also vegan, then perhaps this group can be the solution in the near future.
What I’d like to do or see happen in the future is that after this group hits around 25-50 people, in person events and meetups can happen. Stuff like yoga or tai chi in a park, beach volleyball, Sunday football (or other sports) get-togethers with vegan eats, vegan restaurant meetups, sports watch parties at bars, 5ks and races, bicycling a trail together, EDM shows and rock concerts, fairs and festivals, parks and picnics, veggie and vegan events, various racquet sports based activities (tennis, paddleball, pickleball, squash, etc), beginning level dance class of one style or another, perhaps even a bowling league or kickball league or something like that. If anyone else has anything else sporty, outdoorsy or fun to add, feel free!
