Description: Introduction to Software Defined Radio (SDR) is a brief overview of the concepts, basic equipment, and usages for beginners. The course will encompass an intro to GNURadio as well as other SDR related software and is the first in a series of classes exploring radio and signals theory.

Materials: We'll provide the SDR or you can bring your own. The one we're offering is from Amazon (Make/Model: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009U7WZCA/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )
You should have a laptop with VirtualBox ( https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads )already installed and the Kali ISO ( http://www.kali.org/downloads/ ) or have a bootable flash drive with Kali ready to go. We'll have the images available onsite if you need help but please arrive early so that we don't take up class time getting your computer ready.
Cost: Non-Members: $40 ($25 SDR + $15 fee)
Members: $25 (SDR)
