Homebrew Computing (catch up session)

Details

This is a meetup for people interested in building CPUs from scratch. Our initial design is a breadboard computer based on discrete components and 74LS series logic ICs. Learn how a computer works at a low level by building one from scratch.

Note that while this event is open to anyone interested in attending, there is a cost involved for building components. We group buy parts prior to the meetups and then assemble them at the meetup and plan for the next components. Join us in the #homebrew_computing Slack channel for more information.

This is a catch up session. We aren't building any new modules this evening. If you need to build or troubleshoot the clock, program counter, registers, or the adder circuit, help will be on hand.

Other than materials, this workshop is free and open to everyone. Tampa Hackerspace is a volunteer run, 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are gratefully accepted. There is a donation jar onsite or you can donate at https://paypal.me/HackTampa
