CRITICAL DETAILS
This class is for students between 3rd and 12th grades and subject to a few key restrictions.

  1. Each student MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  2. The adult should RSVP and specify by the number of guests how many students they are chaperoning. e.g. You are enrolling two kids, you would RSVP for yourself plus 2 guests.
  3. Each attendee must complete a RELEASE FORM which can be downloaded and printed from https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BynqFD678bx2RjNudnd0dFFfdlE . If a student is being chaperoned by an adult who is not their legal guardian AND doesn't have a release form signed by their parent or guardian, they will not be able to participate in the class.
  4. Any RSVPs without guests will be immediately moved to the RSVP No list. This class is intended as a STEM activity and adults without children should attend another class.

Capacity: 12 students
Ages: 3rd to 12th grade

We'll start with the basics for using Tinkercad (a free, online 3D design application) and then cover more advanced topics and a great list of design tips to make your objects suitable for 3D printing.

Students should bring laptops if they'd like to follow along with the class. Laptops are not required but are highly recommended. If you have an alternative device, please make sure it works by visiting https://tinkercad.com and verify you can create a new design.

This class is underwritten by a generous STEM grant from Cognizant.
