Make and Take Kiln Fired Pinch and Coil Pots (4 weeks)

This four week class will explain and demonstrate how to work with earthenware clay to make objects, fire them in a kiln and glaze them. This meetup is open to everyone.

The class fee is $60 members/$75 non-members. This includes all materials for all three weeks. Payment instructions and Covid-19 procedures follow.

**Plan to arrive 10 minutes early to get settled and signed in. The class will start on time.

10/18 Week 1:

• Clay basics.
• Sculpt your first project.

10/25 Week 2:

• Review results so far.
• Kiln basics.
• Glaze your first project.

11/1 Week 3:

• Review results so far.
• First project ready to take home.
• Sculpt your second project.

11/8 Week 4:

• Glaze your second project.
• Talk about next steps
• Second project can be picked up after the glaze firing.
