VCarve Basics

Details

Understanding the basics of making a VCarve software file for CNC carving and other projects. Understand the use of different aspects of the software. Encourage students to bring questions and problems they have faced on their projects to discuss and resolve them together.

Agenda: Starting the software and setting up various types of projects. Understanding the use of the keys and affiliated components of the software. Creating a starter sign and exporting it to gcode to be used on CNC and other machines. Recommend all interested to join the SLACK - Tampa Hackerspace #vcarve-discussion channel to post questions. I will also post starter video links to useful YouTuber's I've used to learn from.

ATTENDANCE POLICY: As with all of our classes, the following attendance policy is in effect. By signing up for this class, you are acknowledging this agreement.
