Learn about Raspberry Pi, its History, capabilities and how to load one. The class will cover basics of the hardware models and their components and connections, different OS and software that can be loaded. We will demonstrate loading of the SD card and first startup as well as a walkthrough of basic usage.

Other topics include; Hats and other peripherals for the Pi Arduino vs Raspberry PI, deciding which is best for a project Basic, intermediate and advanced project Ideas. We will have several Raspberry PI in different form factors for people to look at and even load and play with. Attendees are welcome to bring their own hardware.

We do have a number of Mice and keyboards but limited number of HDMI monitors and they should plan to either bring their own monitor or an adapter to connect to a DVI monitor. https://rpilocator.com/ is a good resource for finding hardware in stock.
