Workday - Make a Better Space!

This day will be dedicated to addressing outstanding tasks that we've been putting off. Here's a glimpse of what's on the agenda:

Projects

• Clean/Label/Clear out under tables
• Sort Screws/parts into Bin over drawers by cable drawers
• Sort Laser scrap wood
• Sort extra cables/power bricks and store them away
• Sort Wire rack
• Pair down Hackable bits
• Sand/Paint Baseboards in 4935 that need touchup
• Paint wall in Sewing (where cabinet was removed by door)
• Add shelves to tetris storage in 4931
• Remove empties/excess from flammables storage
• Install Condensation pumps for AC units in 4935 *
• Install Emergency light in 4935 Big classroom (door closest to front door) *

*Indicates electrical work may be required.

• Organize flammables cabinet
• Put new disposal box in flammables cabinet
• Tetris Shelves-
• Measure/cut plywood reinforcement.
• Paint White?
• Remove from wall
• Reinforce with plywood
• Reinstall
• Add more shelves
• Clean up table next to double doors to woodshop
• Organize electrical workbench drawers
• Organize empty bins
• Organize pipe and back shelfs
• Fix rollout door base in 4933
• Organize PVC Pipe in back of 4933

Monthly

• Replace Air filters
• Re-stock dust masks/PPE with boxed ones for easy use, stage in areas of their use (woodshop, machine shop, welding, etc)
• Replace Laser filter material
• Clean Laser filters (back and side)
• Sort/Dismantle donations

Depending on our progress, we may tackle more tasks from our extensive backlog. It's worth noting that none of the items on this list require specialized skills or tools beyond what we already have.
We'll be providing lunch, most likely pizza or wings, depending on preferences.
