Workday - Make a Better Space!

This day will be dedicated to addressing outstanding tasks that we've been putting off. Here's a glimpse of what's on the agenda:

Projects

• Tear down an entire Coke machine
• Fix clay sink plumbing
• Change gear oil in Jet metal bandsaw
• Fix/reinforce tetris shelves
• Paint wall in sewing
• Sand/Paint Baseboards in 4935
• Redesign PVC stand for vinyl sign
• Install extension cord rack
• Sort Mat board donations
• Sort woodshop scrap material
• Sort Laser scrap material
• Remove Sewing Window

Monthly

• Replace Air filters
• Re-stock dust masks/PPE with boxed ones for easy use, stage in areas of their use (woodshop, machine shop, welding, etc)
• Replace Laser filter material
• Clean Laser filters (back and side)
• Sort/Dismantle donations

Depending on our progress, we may tackle more tasks from our extensive backlog. It's worth noting that none of the items on this list require specialized skills or tools beyond what we already have.
We'll be providing lunch, most likely pizza or wings, depending on preferences.
