- All students must be safe and familiar with their chosen firearm. This is not an Introductory Class. It is for Experienced Rifle Shooters wishing to fine tune their skills. Those with limited experience or new to Precision Rifles, should first attend an Introduction to Precision Rifle Course.
1. Arrive to class with a 100 yard zeroed rifle.
2. A “padded barrel”… We’ll explain in full detail why, when you arrive. To pad your rifle barrel, simply follow this process. Clean your rifle as deeply as you want. Then, shoot 30 rounds through it. Then, run an oiled patch through the rifle barrel a few times. No solvents. No brushes. Just oiled patches. That’s it put the gun in your bag and come to class. You’ll be better off if you do. Again full details on why, when, when and how, when you get here.
3. Make sure you have MATCH GRADE ammo. Your rifle is not going to perform to the level we need with regular / range / cheap ammo.
4. You need a proper malleable rear bag to get the best out of this class. We recommend the Armageddon Gear “Python rear bag” or similar.
5. You are REQUIRED to show up with a scope that has either: (A) Finger adjustable target turrets. Or (B) Bullet Drop Compensator reticle… or both.
6. We will teach you how to use the Ballistic App “Ballistics Calculator 2025”. You will need to have it down loaded to your smart phone and have inputted all your rifles data. If you use another ballistic app Kestrel, Geo Ballistics, Shooter, Strelok Pro etc…That’s fine, but we (the class) will not stop to teach each and every different type of app. It will YOUR responsibility to show up with either BC2025 loaded and ready to learn how to use in class… or your “other app” (that you will NOT require help with). Ballistics Calculator 2025 is available on Google Play and for both iPhone and android.
- ANY questions, doubts, and insecurity you may have about your gun, scope, gear or ammo needs to be addressed with our office BEFORE you attend the class. If you fail to show up with serviceable gear, or scopes not properly mounted to rifles, etc, you will be required to rent one of our guns and buy our ammo. We will not have the time or personnel on the day of the class, to deal with incorrect or unassembled equipment. You have been warned. IF IN DOUBT, CALL US.
