Volunteer at Feeding Tampa Bay - Warehouse Sorting

Activity:
Volunteers will inspect perishable and/or non-perishable foods for their expiration date and quality, then package those good foods into bags/boxes that will be distributed to our hungry neighbors soon thereafter.

What to Wear:
In consideration of your safety, volunteers MUST wear flat, closed-toe shoes. You should also avoid wearing tank tops; sleeveless or short-cut shirts (crop tops); and short-shorts. If these guidelines are not followed, volunteers will be asked to reschedule their shift.

Arrival: ATTENTION NEW LOCATION
******Causeway Center, 3624 Causeway Blvd. Tampa FL, United States 33619**

Parking: Parking is available outside of the West (Main) Entrance to the building. After entering the main lobby, you will be prompted to enter the Volunteer Breakroom on your immediate left, where you will be greeted and checked-in by FTB team members. Once all volunteers are checked in, we'll provide an orientation and escort you to your appropriate volunteer area.

Check-In:
-All volunteers will check in with the Feeding Tampa Bay staff member on site - who will direct you to sign in and fill out a name tag.
- Gloves will be available to all volunteers on site.
- Hydration will be provided on site for volunteers. If you wish to have a snack during the shift, feel free to bring one along.

Age Restrictions:
There is NO minimum age to participate in this activity. However, please note this activity would be best suited for children 5+ years old. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer alone.
