33rd Annual Gourmet Feastival - Shift #1 Event Day

Thank you for being a part of the 33rd Annual Gourmet Feastival! This yearly fundraiser enables The Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women to serve more than 3,000 individuals who seek their help each year, empowering women and families in the Tampa Bay community.
Volunteers are at the center of everything from set-up to break down, and we cannot thank you enough for your commitment. Please plan to attend after your shift so that you may enjoy the event and have some fun! You will receive your ticket when you arrive. After this Shift, you will have to leave the venue until the event opens to General Admission. You will not be allowed to stay at the Venue due to the silent auction setup in the hallway of the Venue.
Shift 1 – 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7th, 2025 – Event Day
- This shift will require lifting, loading, and unpacking. Volunteers will assist in the setup of vendor booths and the silent auction organization.
- This shift will assist with getting all paper goods to each vendor booth, tablecloths, and cleaning up areas before guests arrive.
- Volunteers will also help set up the silent auction, organization, and coordination.
- Please be prepared to answer questions and update the Shift 2 volunteers on any area updates at the end of your shift.
What you should know
Parking - Parking will be available at the venue.
Volunteer Check-in- All volunteers, please check in at the volunteer check-in area, which will be located across the hall from registration. All volunteers must sign in to get their specialty event lanyard so the guests will recognize that you are a volunteer.
Dress Code (Shift 2 & 3 Only)- Upon arrival, you will receive a lanyard. Please wear it during your shift time so that you are easily identified by our guests. Once your shift is over, please remove the lanyard and return it to registration for the next group. The dress code is business casual with a 70s twist if you would like. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes. Please, no jeans, T-shirts, or flip-flops.
Shift Times – Please make sure you are aware of your assigned time and arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift. Once you have signed in with volunteer registration and received your assignment, stay at your post and your assigned job and location during your shift.
