# Help the Homelessss

Metro Ministries Mission: We care for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency

Volunteer Details
Our group of volunteers will support the organization’s mission by assisting in one of the following areas:

• Clothing Warehouse/Thrift Store
• Kitchen
• Environmental

They will place us in the areas with the greatest needs that day.

Other important information:

• Check-In: Please check in at the Volunteer Engagement Center.
• Parking: You can park in their large parking lot at 120 E Ross Ave, Tampa, FL 33602, or across the street at 2001 N. Florida Ave.
• Dress Code: You must be sure to wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and a shirt with sleeves (jeans and short sleeve t-shirts are great; no tank tops, no shorts). For your own safety, these are requirements to volunteer during this shift.
• Personal Items: It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.
