Hello Neighbor!
Get ready for a fun family day in the neighborhood! WEDU PBS welcomes the community to celebrate kindness and caring neighbors. This FREE, all-ages event promises fun for everyone!
It’s a wonderful day to spread kindness and make a difference! WEDU PBS invites the community to celebrate kindness and caring neighbors on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Volunteers must be 16 or older, and if you’d like to earn community service hours, just bring your form for us to sign. The event will be fun, fulfilling, and a great way to connect with your community. This form will take approximately 4 minutes to complete. Let’s come together and make this day unforgettable! 💙

Parking
Free public parking is available at Julian B. Lane Park (across from WEDU), Beulah Baptist Church (on W. Cypress St.), Tampa Preparatory School (on W. Cass St.), and the residential streets surrounding the WEDU station. Handicap parking is available in the parking lot on the north side of WEDU, on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can either walk to the WEDU PBS station or take advantage of a FREE trolley service that circulates the listed parking lots every 10-15 minutes on Be My Neighbor Day
