34th Annual Gourmet Feastival - Afternoon Vendor Support & VIP Setup
Details
Be the face of the Feastival! This crucial shift bridges the gap between prep and showtime for the 34th Annual Gourmet Feastival, benefiting The Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women. You will support our incoming local food and beverage purveyors as they prepare for doors to open.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in incoming restaurant and beverage vendors at the back loading doors.
- Guiding vendors to their assigned booths and ensuring they have necessary supplies (ice, paper products, tablecloths).
- Setting up the exclusive VIP room before the 5:00 PM VIP opening.
- Answering vendor questions and maintaining cleanliness in the vendor areas.
What You Need to Know:
- Dress Code: Business casual (a fun 70's twist is highly encouraged!). Comfortable shoes are a must. No jeans, t-shirts, or flip-flops. You will wear a volunteer lanyard during your shift.
- Perks: You will receive a complimentary ticket to the event. You are welcome to arrive early to enjoy the festival before your shift, or stay to enjoy it after your shift ends at 7:00 PM. No eating or drinking is permitted during your working shift.
- Important: All volunteers must be 21 or older. There is no secure storage for purses or personal items.
