34th Annual Gourmet Feastival - Evening Operations & Breakdown Crew

Experience the main event and help us close out the tastiest night of the year! We need a reliable, proactive evening crew to manage operations during the peak hours of the 34th Annual Gourmet Feastival and assist with final breakdown. All proceeds benefit The Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women.
Volunteer Responsibilities (Assignments given at check-in):
- Greeters: Welcome guests, verify tickets/lanyards, hand out programs, and direct traffic.
- Silent Auction Attendants: Monitor bidding sheets, answer questions, and help deliver items to winners when the auction closes at 8:00 PM.
- Restaurant Attendants: Check on vendor booths, restock paper supplies, and maintain area cleanliness.
- Breakdown Crew (Starts at 8:30 PM): Assist vendors in loading their vehicles, pack up remaining event supplies, and load the rental truck.
What You Need to Know:
- Perks & Timing: The event ends at 8:30 PM, followed by mandatory breakdown until 10:00 PM. Because you are working the end of the night, you are invited to arrive early at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM to eat, drink, and enjoy the festival for free using your complimentary volunteer ticket before your shift starts!
- Dress Code: Business casual (70's twist encouraged). Comfortable walking shoes are required. No jeans, t-shirts, or flip-flops.
- Important: All volunteers must be 21 or older. No secure storage is available for personal items. No eating or drinking is allowed while on duty.
