Join us on Saturday, September 12th as we participate in this National Day of Service and Remembrance, organized by Carry the Load.
This event is all about honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, as well as the countless first responders and service members who answered the call. In partnership with the National Cemetery Administration, volunteers everywhere will be at National Cemeteries, VA Grant funded Cemeteries, or at a local cemetery (like us 😊) across the nation.
🇺🇸 Patriot Day is not just a day of remembrance.
It's a day of service — honoring their sacrifice through action.
What we get to do as volunteers:
- During this event, we will participate in cleaning headstones and / or assist with various grounds cleanup at this national cemetery.
