🙂 MORE THAN PINK Walk - Cheer Station

October 10, community members will gather together to celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to help Susan G. Komen invest in groundbreaking breast cancer research AND provide real-time assistance to help with treatment, medication, transportation services, and so much more.

Volunteers play a critical role in the success of the MORE THAN PINK Walk. From helping us Set Up the event site to distributing water along the course, there are plenty of ways for individuals and groups to get involved!

By volunteering with Komen, you'll directly impact your community, make new friends, and feel the satisfaction of knowing you've made a real difference in the lives of the breast cancer community.

What we get to do
Our group will be assigned to a cheer station where we’ll cheer on participants along the route and assist with cleaning up once the event concludes.

Each volunteer in our group needs to register by Monday, 9/28

Safety Information
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 and then contact your onsite Komen staff contact. The Komen staff member is prepared to act in the best interests of all concerned should an emergency arise.

Cancellation Policy
The event will take place rain or shine. You will be notified if the volunteer opportunity has been cancelled.
