Playing the Blues with Feeling JamALONG @Safety Harbor Public Library

We play the blues but do we play "with feeling?" Cheryl (and Tony in spirit) bring a mini "Master the Blues" workshop to the JamALONG. After that we'll be singing the Blues.

We'll learn about Standard 12 Bar Blues, Walking 12 Bar Blues and the Numbering System.

And then we'll play some of the classics: Baby Won't You Please Come Home, Bring it On Home to Me, Hesitation Blues, Honky Tonk Women, Johnny B. Goode, A Mess of Blues, Nobody Knows when You're Down and Out, Singing the Blues, Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay, Sweet Home Chicago, Let the Good Times Roll/Pride and Joy Blues, Got my Mojo Working.

Everything will be on the big screen screen and the workshop pages and songsheet will be emailed later. Attendees have an opportunity to win two tickets to Jake Shimabukuro's March 3 concert at the Capitol Theater, courtesy of Ruth Eckerd Hall and the library!
