South Tampa Ukulele Jam

South Tampa Ukulele Jam starts back up July 18th, every 3rd Saturday at Jan Platt Library in South Tampa!

Rolling out our first Ukulele Jam at Jan Platt Library, social time from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Then music from 2 to 4 pm. There will be some time from 4 to 4:30 pm for any questions about Ukulele and Songs etc.

I am happy to take back on the hosting of the South Tampa Jam, and this is a great venue, with plenty of seating and air conditioned with great parking!

As usual, there will be a theme each month, starting with Elvis for July! List is done, working on the sheets with chords, keeping it simple for beginners and a few challenging ones for intermediate to advanced. Not going with the books for this one, as we are changing keys to easy ones for both singing and playing.

Also, we always encourage and invite you to bring a related song to sing and play up in front of the group on the mic! Our Uke band, Reenee and The Rollers will be there to guide the jam and throw in a few intermediate songs.
