About us
This groups is for anyone who loves theater, concerts and anything having to do with the arts. This group use to be called South Tampa Seniors. I have since changed it because of the shows I do, and if you are below 40 and cant join my other group, then this is the group you will fall into. Based on the interests of a show, I put seats on hold. The venue usually ask for final payment 6 weeks to 30 days before a show. At that time when I email you about a month before then you can bow out if you have a conflict. My goal is to have 10 standing at the end, The idea of doing group sales is to get your tickets at a discount. It all depends on the show but sometime you can save from 20% to 50% on a show when you look at the cost as it gets closer to the show date. If you rsvp yes and find you can't make it, please change your rsvp. I am certainly open to suggestions and if there is something you want to do and host an event, I will be glad to set you up as an event host.

You want to be clued into what everyone else is talking about. Just like you decide to watch that show on Netflix because you keep seeing memes about it and you want to get in on the joke.
But Hamilton is a lot more complicated than any Netflix show, at least, anyone set in current times. Since Hamilton is set in the past, not only does your brain have to keep track of the fast-moving plot, but it has to think about old customs and events, too. Remember that one history teacher you had who always tried to make class “fun?” Hamilton is what it would look like if they succeeded. Want a quick summary before you go? ### Who is Hamilton?
Alexander Hamilton was never president, so let’s get that out of the way first. He was, however, central to America’s founding and the architect of how we think of capitalism, today.
### The Play Begins
When the curtains first go up, you’ll see young Alexander Hamilton, recounting how he was a bastard and now an orphan. There are quick references to how he pulled himself up by his bootstraps before it moves to war scenes. Hamilton makes some important friends on the battlefield, including George Washington.
He started out in a non-combat role in the war, drawing up plans and strategizing. But never happy Hamilton got bored of that and wanted in on the action. He was an integral part of the battle at Yorktown, VA, against General Cornwallis. If that rings a bell, it’s because that was the battle, in 1781, that won America the war. He doesn’t die in the war, and when it’s over he ends up meeting some very nice women. Those women are the Schuyler sisters, and they internally fight over him.

It’s the holidays, and this year, things are different. For years, Isabella and her father have read “A Visit from Saint Nicholas” by Clement Clarke Moore together. Now, Isabella feels like she’s outgrown the family tradition. But then the magic of the poem comes to life, and Isabella and her father are unexpectedly separated by a snowstorm that sends them on a fantastic journey.
In a winter wonderland inspired by the poem, ***’Twas the Night Before… ***is a festive flurry of love and cheer created especially for families, featuring the incredible acrobatics Cirque du Soleil is known for – from a mesmerizing aerial straps duo and daring hoop diving, to gravity-defying hair suspension and high-energy dancing – performed by a cast of 26 artists from all over the world. The show features lovable characters and a soundtrack including Christmas favorites reinvented by Cirque du Soleil.
