Day One – With an early morning departure we will travel up the highways of central Florida. With
appropriate rest and lunch stops we will take in the lush scenery along Central Florida heading into the
Panhandle and finally arriving at our home for tonight, the Lovely Holiday Inn in Mobile, Alabama.
With easy access to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options, you'll never run out of things to do
during your stay. At the Holiday Inn in Mobile, guests can enjoy a range of amenities and features
including a complimentary shuttle service, a well-equipped fitness center, a free hot complimentary
breakfast buffet, and fast High-speed Wi-Fi. We strive to make your stay comfortable and convenient, so
you can focus on enjoying everything Mobile has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you to our newly
renovated hotel.
Day Two – After our included breakfast buffet we will cruise along I10 to our destination – The Big Easy
– New Orleans Louisiana! We should arrive just in time to enjoy a delicious lunch dropping everybody
off next to Jackson Square in front of world-famous Café Du Monde! Make sure to try a beignet or
three! After lunch we will take a 2–3-hour tour with an entertaining and knowledgeable local step on
guide to see the sights & learn the history of fantastic New Orleans! Our Guide will bid us au revoir as we
check in to our home for the next two nights, the Spectacular Drury Inn Plaza New Orleans!
Conveniently located on Poydras Street the Drury Plaza Hotel New Orleans is a historic renovation of the
Cumberland Phone Building. Stay in the heart of the Big Easy, just steps from the French Quarter,
Bourbon Street, Canal Street, the Riverwalk, Caesar’s Superdome, and Smoothie King Center.
With the St. Charles streetcar on the hotel’s corner, you can easily explore the Garden District and other
parts of the city. In addition, Drury Inns are offering their guests an incredible array of amenities including
arrival refreshments, complimentary in-room coffee, deluxe continental breakfast (hot & cold), also,
evening beverages and the FREE 5:30 KICKBACK! from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Drury has increased their
evening food offerings to always include salad and
baked potato bar, nacho bar, snack mix, chips,
carrots, celery and dip. There will also be items
such as broccoli cheddar soup, macaroni and
cheese, breaded chicken strips, boneless buffalo-
style chicken wings, and chilidogs offered on a
rotating basis. We will call this our “Drury
Dinner”. The delicious, very deluxe continental
breakfast Drury has always offered includes eggs,
sausage, self-serve waffle maker, yogurt, fresh
fruit, juices, milk & cereal, bagels, biscuits and
gravy and more.
Day Three – After your delicious Drury Breakfast it’s time to get in that Cresent City spirit with a tour of
Mardi Gras World! When you come to New Orleans, there are countless tours to choose from: historic
tours, ghost tours, swamp tours, and more. But only one tour offers a real, behind-the-scenes look at New
Orleans’ most special celebration: Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras World not only gives you an authentic Mardi
Gras experience year-round but also takes you deeper into the work behind making Mardi Gras. Whether
you’re visiting New Orleans for the first time, or you’ve been on the parade route since before you were
able to say, “throw me something mister,” the Mardi Gras World tour is something you can’t miss. After
Mardi Gras World the Coach will drop off near Jackson Square and our hotel. You will have all
afternoon and evening to explore and enjoy the sights and sounds of the “City
that Care Forgot”! NOLA (New Orleans, LA) Enjoy some Jazz from the
street musicians, explore the fantastic WWII Museum, the Audubon
Aquarium or gardens, The St Louis Cathedral, the shops restaurants street
artists or one of my favorite places – M.S. Rau Antiques and fine art!

fine art, antiques and jewelry galleries. The 40,000-square-foot showroom
features carefully selected works from a diverse array of artists such as Claude
Monet, John Singer Sargent, Rembrandt van Rijn, Tiffany & Co., Paul Revere,
Thomas Chippendale, Louis Comfort Tiffany, René Lalique and many others. If
you don’t have other dinner plans don’t forget our 5:30 Kickback back at our
luxurious Drury Plaza
Day Four – After another delicious Drury Breakfast it’s time load up the coach and explore the
Mississippi on the Steamboat Natchez! You’ll get the authentic riverboat experience
of a leisurely, two-hour cruise on the mighty Mississippi, enjoying traditional live jazz,
craft cocktails, and all the beautiful New Orleans sites, while also exploring the newly
renovated riverboat. Make sure you check out all four decks – the top deck view is a
sight to see! Our Cruise includes the Sunday Jazz Brunch with many
delicious offerings to enjoy! After our cruise of the mighty Mississippi, we
will board our coach for the trip to the Sleep Inn in DeFuniak Springs,
FL, Tonight’s dinner will be an included Pizza Party with Beer and
Wine and soft drinks! What a great way to socialize and reminisce
about all the great things we’ve seen & done this week!
Day Five – After our included, hot breakfast, we will begin our
journey home. After our scenic ride, with appropriate stops, we arrive back in
St. Petersburg with memories of our fantastic trip throughout the Panhandle and the Birthplace of Jazz –
