We're building a local Cursor community and you're invited to the kickoff.
​Join us at spARK Labs by ARK Invest in downtown St. Petersburg for an evening of demos, a live Q&A with a member of the Cursor team (via video call), and networking.

## ​What to expect:

​🍕 Pizza, drinks, and 30 minutes to meet fellow builders before we kick things off.
​💬 Live Q&A with the Cursor Team — Bring your questions. A Cursor team member joins us remotely to talk features, roadmap, workflows, and whatever else you want to know.
​🛠️ Build N' Tell — This is the main event. Community members demo something they've built with Cursor: a side project, a workflow hack, an automation, anything. Each demo is followed by a quick Q&A so everyone can learn. Think show & tell, but for builders. Want to present? Sign up when you RSVP or DM the host.
​🤝 Networking — Wrap up the evening connecting with other developers, founders, and AI-curious people in the Tampa Bay area.

About Armature Works:

Once a streetcar warehouse, Armature Works was transformed into a bustling hub featuring diverse food stalls, bars, and recreational spaces. It's the perfect spot to unwind, try new cuisines, and connect with others. Situated on the north side of the street are even more restaurants to explore, and the Tampa Riverwalk's north terminal begins right here!

Meeting Spot:

Find us outdoors on the green lawn near the chess/checker courts to avoid any issues with security. In case of inclement weather, we will move indoors but maintain a distance from the doors.

Parking Information:

Free side street parking is available to the north and east of Armature Works, which should be mostly accessible on a Wednesday. If paid parking is necessary, the cost is generally $5 to $10.

Join us as we celebrate the sucess of speaker Ryan Clements, a long time Tampa Devs member, speaker and founder of Byte Bot. Ryan will share a story on how he and his team deleted $600K in Software Costs (and the hard lessons learned along the way). Which involved replacing an expensive third-party ETL platform, revealing techanical challenges that required every ounce of the teams techanical know how.

What Ryan didn't expect was how much the project's success would hinge on navigating ambiguity, building stakeholder trust, and making dozens of small decisions that would compound over time.

This session dives into a story of a migration where the wins, the failures, and the lessons were earned from being in the trenches.

As an added bonus, attendees should expect to walk away with practical patterns for building resilient data pipelines, strategies for moving forward when requirements are fuzzy, and a realistic picture of what it takes to ship a high-stakes project without burning out your team. Whether you're building ETL systems or any complex infrastructure, these lessons apply.
