Next Level Game Development: Godot Engine + DevOps = GameOps!

Details

Join us for an extremely cool tech talk where game development meets cutting-edge software strategies. Charlton and Kevin, developers and gaming aficionados, will guide us through an exploration of game development with Godot Engine and their unique approach to applying DevOps principles to the exciting world of making games.

This event promises a deep-dive into the ways DevOps techniques can benefit game development, challenging the traditional boundaries between these two domains. Our speakers will highlight their experience developing games with the Godot Engine, a versatile, open-source game engine. They'll reveal their distinctive approach to building, testing, and shipping their game, unravel CI/CD workflows specifically for Godot Engine, and demonstrate the automation of real-world build and delivery pipelines to popular online stores like Itch.io and Steam.

Our speakers argue that games are not just a form of entertainment, but also an advanced form of software, and they too can benefit from the approaches DevOps has brought to the tech industry. Whether you're a seasoned game developer, a DevOps professional, or simply intrigued by the intersection of these domains, this event is for you.

See you there!
