What we’re about
A convenient platform to facilitate get-togethers with members of the Tan family residing in different parts of the world in the effort to keep connections strong and meaningful.
Gatherings may take the form of special occasion parties/dinners, friendly board game competitions, a call out for help on a DIY project/repair, group travels, hosting and/or entertaining international members, etc.
For now, all must join membership to attend events and participation is restricted to direct descendants of Tan Cheong Wan (Organizer's late father) and their families. If you would like to be an event organizer, let me know.
We can use this as a one-stop platform to organize and/or join events wherever and whenever we are available. And if we cannot make it to the party we can still know that it is happening and view any photos, add comments or just a greeting to tell the event attendees we are thinking of them.
I think we can also use this to organize virtual events/games. I hope the younger, more tech-savvy generation will research on this feature and run with it!!
