A fun and friendly beginner tango class. New beginners are welcome every week. No partner required!
Everyone learns both roles (leading and following) in a supportive environment.
Students are invited to stay for a social dance, the Palermo Fishtown Milonga, which starts right after the class. Tonight is a special live music milonga. On live music nights, we ask everyone to pay for the milonga, even if they have paid for the class.
8-9 pm: Beginner Tango Class
9 pm-midnight: Palermo Fishtown Milonga (an all-levels Argentine tango social dance) with DJ Andres Amarilla, LIVE MUSIC by Bandoneonist Rodrigo Avalos & Pianist Emiliano Messiez and HOUSEMADE PIZZA by Emiliano

Live Music Night Milonga Pricing: Sliding Scale $20-40+
The class is free for students ages 30 and under. Just bring an ID to prove your age and sign up at the door, if you qualify for free entrance.
Please bring smooth-soled shoes to change into in the studio (i.e. shoes that allow you to pivot easily). If you don’t have anything that fits the bill, don’t worry! Dancing in socks works great! Or you can buy dance socks to put over any shoes.
