About us
A welcoming learning space to dance, meet and belong awaits you!
This isn't just dance classes where you memorize a step and crave for the next.
It’s a space to explore Tango Argentino as a living practice that develops body awareness, connection, and the ability to truly meet yourself and another person in the dance.
You're warmly invited to be part of an international, English-speaking community where you’ll be guided to:
→ feel more at ease in your body
→ understand how movement and connection work in Tango Argentino
→ adapt to different dance partners and situations
→ experience Tango Argentino as a real dialogue instead of a performance or choreography
All levels are welcome, two left feet included, from complete beginners to experienced dancers who feel something is missing in their dance and want to go deeper. No dance partner or previous experience required.
Your teacher and facilitator
Jessica Gerdel is a certified Tango Argentino and Yoga teacher and movement educator with formal training in somatic practices and Dance/Movement Therapy. After having her own studio in Buenos Aires, life took her to Vienna, where she continues empowering people through body awareness and social dance.
In a world that mostly puts you to memorize steps to learn a dance or leaves you with half-answered questions, Jessica developed a full learning ecosystem where you don’t just learn what to do, but discover why and how movement works and becomes yours.
She creates a safe space to learn, experiment and have fun, where you can meet with yourself and others, and develop skills that actually work on and off the dance floor.
Jessica's learning ecosystem supports your process through:
• Weekly classes for beginners and improvers
• Guided practice sessions to integrate what you learn and explore beyond
• Tango Immersion Weekends to deepen specific topics
• Milonga Itinerante, a welcoming social space to dance, meet, and belong. Often with live music!
If you’re looking for a practice that can evolve with you over time, you’re in the right place.

Free your spine
Zentrum Exist, Sechshauserstraße 36-38, 1150, Wien, ATGain tools that you can bring home for a healthy and mobile spine, even (and especially) if you think you have zero flexibility.
Why such a class in our Tango Immersion Weekend program?
Ever wondered why sometimes movement feels (or looks) stiff, forced or limited, and how to change it?Everything, from a comfortable embrace to any technique and popular figure you can think of in Tango, from simple to complex, functions smoother if you build some body awareness and set your spine free.
This weekend we're focusing on the infinite world of spirals. They are one of the hidden structures that make movement feel fluid, connected and alive.
This time I included a bonus lesson before the workshops start, helping you prepare your body for the weekend’s theme and gain tools that you can bring home for a healthy and mobile spine, even (and especially) if you think you have no flexibility.
No previous experience required. Bring comfortable clothes and your own yoga mat or use the ones available at the studio.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
