Curious about Tango Argentino? This Tango Basics Course is an invitation to begin your tango journey with solid foundations, clarity, and fun.

Across 5 Sundays, we’ll explore the essentials of Tango Argentino from a mindful, embodied approach. Focusing not only on what to do, but on how and why we move the way we do in this dance.

You’ll learn:

  • Fundamental posture and body organization.
  • Tango walking, connection, and basic navigation on the dance floor.
  • How to move with another person comfortably and clearly.
  • The foundations needed to start social dancing, and build confidence in your movement.

Each class is followed by a guided practice gathering, where you can take time to integrate what you learned, ask questions, and practice in a relaxed and supportive environment.

No previous experience required.
You can come with or without a partner, and learn the role(s) of your choice.

Ideal for you if

  • You're a complete beginner in Tango Argentino.
  • You're returning to tango and want to rebuild the foundations of your dance.
  • You're looking for a thoughtful, body-aware introduction to Tango Argentino within a friendly community.

Teaching approach
Spoiler alert: This is not about copying and memorizing steps.
Jessica's teaching focus is on body awareness, connection, and developing good habits from the start — so what you learn works in real social dance situations and truly supports your dance in the long term.
