About us
The Tango Educators Collective and Social Club is a space for those of us who teach Argentine tango to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Whether you are running a full-time studio, teaching private lessons, or just starting out as an assistant, the goal of this group is to create a community where we can talk openly about the challenges and joys of passing on this dance. Teaching can often feel like a solitary pursuit, and we want to provide a place where we can discuss pedagogical approaches, classroom management, and the nuances of communication without the pressure of a formal seminar.
Beyond professional development, we also meet to simply enjoy the dance together. We host regular social sessions where educators can dance, exchange ideas in an informal setting, and build friendships within the local teaching community. If you are passionate about the craft of teaching tango and want to be part of a collaborative circle of peers, you are very welcome to join us. We look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can help each other grow as teachers and dancers.
