Stay centered and make strategic decisions with the Adjustment card

Welcome! We meet via Zoom on the Third Thursday of every month.

Join us online to discuss the cards and learn about tarot symbology and archetypes. Over the next 22 months we'll take a look at the Thoth deck Major Arcana, beginning with the Fool and ending with the Universe card.

The Major Arcana shows the progress on the path of human evolution. Last month we discussed the Thoth deck Chariot card, key 7, moving outside our comfort zones to take risks. This month, we'll discuss Adjustment, key 8, exploring ways to stay calm and sturdy, and how to make good choices during chaotic times.

Adjustment represents our karma and the profound consequences of our choices, words, and actions. When things get out of balance, we must take responsibility and re-center ourselves. Adjustment directs us to consider any areas of life that need reevaluation. We can adapt and thrive, harnessing our rational minds and critical thinking skills. This is especially important when making life-altering decisions.

Any actions that we take affect our future selves and the equilibrium of the world around us. We can assess our inner motivations and consider all the factors involved. If we have pure intentions and make good decisions, it may lead to better outcomes. Ultimately, we get what we deserve.

Maintaining balance is not a passive act. Equilibrium requires us to constantly re-assess situations, then make adjustments based on our ever-changing life circumstances. When we make choices that align with our true Will, we can create harmony.
