Keep going and seek the future that you desire with the Fortune card
Details
Welcome! We meet via Zoom on the Third Thursday of every month.
Join us online to discuss the cards and learn about tarot symbology and archetypes. Over the next 22 months we'll take a look at the Thoth deck Major Arcana, beginning with the Fool and ending with the Universe card.
The Major Arcana shows the progress on the path of human evolution. Last month we discussed the Thoth deck Hermit card, key 9, and explored how to tap into our inner knowing to find clarity. This month, we'll discuss the Fortune card, key 10, and look at the fluctuating, expansive nature of life and strategies to navigate constant changes.
Fortune is not inherently good or bad. No matter how the wheel of Fortune turns, you can adapt if you’re not afraid to face change. Everything is always in flux. Life is a flow, and flow is measured in time. Time is a continuous flow of ever-changing conditions. Space materializes itself in time. Every harvest is the result of cultivation. Fate isn’t what you “could have done” – it’s a resulting outcome that is partially influenced by your responses while facing life’s changes.
Fortune shows ebb and flows of lived circumstances, aligning individual will with the forces of Divine intention. It’s the manifestation and fruition of personal desires when they are in harmony with the Universe / Divine will.
A firmament of stars above the wheel symbolizes the Egyptian Goddess Nuit (the night sky), the cosmic expanse, constellations, and the harmony of the universe. The 10-pointed star and the 10-spoked wheel show the macrocosm and the microcosm: As above, so below. This message is also depicted in the Magician card, Key 1. The manifestation completes and then begins again.
When the Fortune card appears in a reading, it signifies a moment of reflection on the finished journey. Ten marks the end of a cycle, akin to reaching the mountaintop. You made it to the apex, but what went up must come down.

I'll send the Zoom login details via Meetup about an hour before the event starts on Thursday. RSVP to this event or send me a private message to get the link.
Please have your favorite tarot deck handy (if you have one), a journal, and a pen to take notes. And a lovely cup of tea, if you'd like.
As always, a $5.00 contribution is appreciated to help us cover the costs of this meetup. However, no one is turned away for lack of funds. I'll provide details for paying via Venmo or PayPal.
See you online!
