CEDAR GROVE UMC (CG) IS A NEW STARTING POINT FOR TARWHEEL / SCRAMBLE RIDES! THE MINISTER IS OKAY WITH A ONCE A MONTH WEEKDAY RIDE FOR NOW. WE MUST PARK ON THE CEMETERY SIDE OF THE CHURCH SO WE DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THEIR FOOD BANK OPERATIONS. THE CHURCH HAS A VERY ACTIVE FOOD BANK SUPPORTING 50-75 LOCAL FAMILIES AT ANY TIME AND THEY WOULD WELCOME FOOD DONATIONS ON THE DAYS WE RIDE.

New Scramble™ from CG to South Graham (aka No Man's Land) averaging 18'ish mph. Your choice to drive the pace or sit back and draft, just keep aware, safe and the group together. We'll stop at Chris' (Mile 22.8) for some refreshments and conversation. (It appears the 'C' is missing from their sign!) Described as 'charming', they open at 11AM so we'll depart 945AM so we are not waiting!

Never been there, but expecting some down-home local flavor!) On the short return, feel free to take off and burn those calories for the last 5-7 miles.

No ride if raining or severe threat. All usual Tarwheels rules apply regarding waiver and behavior. If you have not recently looked over Tarwheels ride policies, please take a moment to consult:
http://tarwheels.net/wp/policies/
Make sure that you have filled out the waiver before attending this ride.
Guests are asked to fill out a waiver for each ride. Members need only do it once per calendar year.
