Denden is a family-owned restaurant located on the North side of Chicago. Eritrean food is similar to Ethiopean food, but maybe even better.

There is easy street parking. The food will be excellent! It is a vegan healthy and individually home-cooked type food. Our menu is a good cross-section of what they offer!

Yes, it is all vegan. All for the price of $22. Yes, TAX AND TIP are INCLUDED! Please bring CASH to pay the night of the event. Please bring exact change. It is greatly appreciated.

We will meet at 5 PM and have a social time until 5:30 PM to mingle with your fellow foodies. The Super Bowl will be on a Large Screen TV! There will be a cash bar. Please arrive close to 5 pm so we can check everyone in and get started on time. Please don’t come starving. Have a bite to eat or snack to take the edge off.

The food will be served buffet-style.

The menu will consist of the following items.
The salad will be a House Salad.

The entrees are:
Tsebh'i Brsen (ground lentils in spicy homemade sauce)
Bamia (okra and spinach)
Shiro (chick pea flour)
Tsebh'i Ah'mlti (String Beans, Potato, Carrots)
Tsebh'i Quost'a (Quost'a vegetable)
Alicha Dinish (potato cubes mixed with carrots and cabbage)

Injera Bread (a limited amount of Gluten free Injera may also be available for $3.00 extra per piece - must be ordered in advance - please put it in with your reservation)
