🇩🇪 "Let's Talk About Tax“ ist ein kostenfreies Networking Event für alle, die sich mit Steuererklärungen, vorbereitender Buchhaltung und anderen Steuerthemen beschäftigen (müssen).

In der Schule bekommt man nicht erklärt, wie man eine Rechnung korrekt erstellt, was relevant für eine Steuererklärung ist oder wie man diese ans Finanzamt übermittelt; für diejenigen, die aus dem Ausland kommen, sind deutsche Gegebenheiten ebenso neu. Das Wissen muss man sich als Selbständiger mühsam selbst aneignen. Wer einen Steuerberater für sich arbeiten lässt, wird oft erleben, dass dieser nur dann Steuerspar-Tipps umsetzt, wenn man sie ihm vorschlägt, was wiederum voraussetzt, dass man sie selbst kennt.

Wir wollen uns also als Art Selbsthilfegruppe gegenseitig Ratschläge geben dazu, wie wir nach deutschem Steuerrecht je nach Tätigkeit korrekt vorgehen, wie wir die Steuerlast – der häufigste Grund für das Scheitern von Start-ups und auch für etablierte Unternehmen einer der wichtigsten Faktoren – möglichst niedrig halten und welche Tools uns dabei am effizientesten unterstützen.

"Let's Talk About Tax" is a free networking event for anyone who (has to) deal with tax returns, preparatory bookkeeping and other tax topics.

At school, you don't learn how to create an invoice correctly, what is relevant for a tax return or how to submit it to the tax office; for those who come from abroad, German conditions are just as new. As a self-employed person, you have to painstakingly acquire this knowledge yourself. If you have a tax consultant working for you, you will often find that they only implement tax-saving tips if you suggest them to them, which in turn means that you have to know them yourself.

So, as a kind of self-help group, we want to give each other advice on how to proceed correctly according to German tax law depending on the activity, how to minimise the tax burden - the most common reason for the failure of start-ups and also one of the most important factors for established companies - and which tools support us most efficiently in doing so.
