This is sort of a Wine Down Wednesday. Version 1.0 was at Warehouse Winery. Then Warehouse stopped making wine, and started charging more for the wine they had shipped in. So V2.0 was born - to move it to my house, keep the format (sans the live band), keep it the last Wed, and make it cheaper with better stuff. Worked well Some of those went late. Then there was the whole get up the next day and go to work thing. So enter V3.0. Move Wednesday to a weekend. Since most people have the 3rd off for the 4th, Thursday is a Friday. Did I lose anyone? Just remember Thursday 7/2. And don't ask me who's on first.
Here are the details.
Where: Gary's house in Robbinsdale

What's provided: Wine and food.
Wine - Various varietals red and white. Answer the sign up poll about your favorites and I will *try* to accommodate.
Food -I will have some sort of charcuterie and there will also be some veggie type stuff cause some people (who are not named Gary) like rabbit food.
Here's some background and history.
Warehouse Winery has stopped making wine. They are selling off their red inventory while bringing in whites from California. With this came a price increase. Instead of $20 for for 4 short tastes and a glass, they now ask for $20 for red only tasting and $30 for white only. The reds will likely go up to $30 too when they run out of their old wine. Food was 3 or 4 cheese cubes and a couple of grapes.
After discussion at one of the Warehouse meetups, and complaints about cost and quality, I volunteered to do it at my place. More wine. Better wine. More food. Better food. Cause I don't need to make a profit or pay for a Warehouse.
I'm trying to do this in the manner in which we were used to. That means I'll supply the wine and snacks, you just bring money. I'll open several bottles at a time, and we'll keep going until no one wants more. We will not run out. And, who knows, at the end, I might even break out the distilled spirits (just like at Copperwing).
