Wed 14th THE PARLOR Remote Worker Meetup

We will meet at the Parlor at 5:00.
The parlor has a full menu of drinks (including non-alcoholic) and a generous happy hour until 6pm. The Parlor has 3 rooms, and it is TBD which one we will be in - so look around for our sign(s) and group of merry people. Every month we have several first timers, so don't be shy. Come make some new friends (in person!) who know what it is like to work from home.

TC Telecommuters is a group of professionals who work remotely in the Traverse City area for companies around the United States. We cover the gamut of people including designers, programmers, researchers, HR, legal, sales, educators, managers, editorial, etc.

We may not have in-person co-workers, but we can all have a drink together!

So while you can’t make the work happy hour for your company (where ever that is) you can join up with a bunch of new friends! So stop complaining about your work day to your dog and come out and meet some people.

You're still reading?! You must be new. Here are the basics:

1. Table space is first come first serve - I'll do my best to hold space.
2. Very few people at these things know each other. You may be new, but you'e not an outsider. Many people have shown up at this only benign town for a few weeks - never too early or late to make new friends!
3. Bring a friend if you like.
4. Please settle your bill with the waitstaff, there isn’t a group tab.
