About us
Here's a toast to you! Want to make friends, meet new people? Want to share a love of music and singing? Want to take some time out, just for yourself, that will energize and fulfill you? Make time in your life for more music and more fun.
We are Twin County Chorus, a group of about forty wonderful, welcoming, and warm-hearted women who love to sing, We sing a cappella, in four-part harmony. Whether your voice is high and silvery, or low and mellow, we need and want you!!
Our sound, when we rehearse in our usual rehearsal space, is full and rich. Our rehearsals include socializing, some physical and voice warmups, and lots of singing and laughter.
Our chorus is a chapter of a large international organization called Sweet Adelines International.
We rehearse in person in Syosset every Thursday, from 7:15 until about 9:30.

We sing energetic up-tunes and sweet ballads in four-part a cappella harmony, without instruments. Our fabulous Director, Christine, teaches vocal techniques, and helps us sound and look our best when we perform. We are fortunate to be a wonderful, warm, and friendly group of women, who look forward to welcoming new members. Come and join the fun!
Our rehearsals are held in Syosset, NY. We do physical and voice warmups, we learn new songs, and we learn how to perfect our craft.
