## The Schedule and Details
### 5pm-6pm: Potluck
Bring a vegan dish to share! Everyone is welcomed to attend, whether you're vegan or not, Feel free to invite your friends and family.
The food at the potluck should be vegan/100% plant-based -- in other words, it shouldn't have any meat, meat broth, fish, dairy, eggs, honey, or other derivatives of these products. If you're not sure what to make, here are 25 quick, easy vegan recipes, or you could bring a vegan option from a local restaurant or grocery store (this could include such items as chips with salsa & guacamole, or carrots & hummus).
### 6pm-7:30pm: Sled Dogs Documentary Screening
After taking some time to meet each other and eat together, we will be watching the documentary Sled Dogs. The documentary explores the treatment of sled dogs in the sledding industry. (One week later, on Sunday the 25th, CAA is co-hosting an entirely virtual documentary discussion. Register to join the discussion on the 25th.)
## (FULL - thank you!) Volunteer to Help us Make this Event Sustainable
We use ceramic dishes and metal silverware at this potluck to help protect the earth, other humans, and wild animals from plastic pollution. We appreciate every person who lends a hand to help finish doing dishes after the event. Your generosity makes zero-waste potlucks feasible -- and it's a great way to chat and get to know each other a bit better. You can sign up to help on the volunteer page.
