***RSVP for the dine-out on Ticketbud***

The Twin Cities are, thankfully, home to thousands of small, diverse, independent restaurants and small businesses. Many of them are currently facing overwhelming economic challenges due to federal actions. We are organizing this series of plant-based dine-outs to come together as Minnesota residents and bring positive community connections and economic support to our local businesses, all while supporting animal-friendly, eco-friendly food offerings.

Join us at the local restaurant Thai Garden for delicious food and for connection, conversation, and community.

Thai Garden’s delectable offerings include soups (like tom yum, coconut soup, and suki-yaki), curries (mock duck, tofu, or vegetable), fried rices (curry style, Hawaiian style, or basil), and stir fries (cashews, sweet Thai basil, lemongrass). These are just a few of their many vegan options!
Please RSVP on Ticketbud. Email [info@exploreveg.org](mailto:info@exploreveg.org) if you can no longer make it.

Everyone is welcome at this dine-out, regardless of diet, race, age, or any other demographic. All food ordered should be plant-based. Feel free to invite your veg-friendly friends and family. We each pay for our own meals.

There will be a brief remote action available to take to support animals — writing to our representatives to urge them to protect state-level animal welfare laws.

If you would like to bring and donate a nonperishable vegan food item or hygiene items (diapers, wipes, toilet paper), staff at the event will be transporting any donations directly to a hyperlocal resource shelf.

We know many in our community are concerned that ICE is racially profiling people, not observing due process, and disregarding constitutional rights, and that many people are sheltering in place at home. If you live in the Twin Cities metro area (including suburbs) and are sheltering at home as a precaution, there are a limited number of tickets available to have your dinner dropped off by a friendly community member. To do this, 1. Go to Ticketbud and reserve your “Community Delivery” spot. 2. Call the restaurant and make an order for pickup at 6:30pm on Saturday, March 7. Be sure to pay ahead on the phone. Be sure to make the order under the same name as your Ticketbud reservation. 3. Keep an eye on your email for a description and phone number of the community member who will drop off to you.

🌱 Why a vegan dine-out? Vegan meals prevent harm to animals, save water, help the climate, preserve wild land, and boycott the animal abuses of factory farming. Well-balanced vegan eating also reduces the risk of several chronic diseases. You don’t need to be vegan to come, but this is why the event is vegan-food-only!
