# CAA Outreach @ Mother Earth Summit
CAA will be tabling at the Mother Earth Summit this April. Whether you’re a community member or university student, if you’re looking to connect with community organizations working for a pro-animal, pro-environment future, come check it out!
## What is the Mother Earth Summit?
The Mother Earth Summit is a day of community and university connection! The summit takes place 11am to 4pm on Saturday, April 4. There are exhibitors, speakers, activities, and a plant-forward buffet, including vegan food options. The Summit is organized by university students mentored by Michael Chaney of Project Sweetie Pie and Britt Howell of BF50 Indigenous Health Initiative have collaborated to build a dynamic annual environmental justice event rooted in youth leadership and community impact.
## Who Can Attend the Summit?
The event is open to community and university members who fill out the registration form. Register to attend the Summit here.
When you’re at the Summit, stop by the CAA table to learn about the mistreatment of animals in our food system, take action for farmed animals, and see some of our upcoming events.
## Sign Up to Volunteer
Sign up to volunteer at the CAA table at this link. Together, we’ll speak to passerby, inviting them to play a trivia game with information about the treatment of animals in American agriculture, and inviting them to take a simple action for animals by filling out a postcard to their representative. This event is usually fairly quiet and friendly, and a great way to dip your toes into outreach. In addition to helping us reach new people, your presence covering the table for a short period means that the lead tabler, Abbey, can circulate and invite other interested organizations to Twin Cities Veg Fest and other collaborations, helping to support our state’s annual vegan festival and pro-animal community even while we provide education, resources, and actions to the public! You will also get a break during your shift to explore all the other organizations present, and in addition to the buffet’s vegan options we provide snacks for volunteers.
## Get involved at other Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA) events!
Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA) hosts many events throughout the year, including Twin Cities Veg Fest, Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge, Vegan Chili Cook Off, Vegan Recipe Club, outreach, meal prep at local shelters, cooking classes, potlucks, and so much more!
