What we’re about

We are a self-organizing group of practitioners, inspired by Frederic Laloux's book "Reinventing Organizations", committed to supporting organizations and leadership to evolve and embody the qualities of "Teal" - Self-Management, Evolutionary Purpose, and Wholeness.

We will be exploring the ideas, principles, and practices from Laloux's book, as well as other related material, through facilitated conversations and exercises. We will often use tools and methods from the Art of Hosting, a collaborative approach to participatory leadership and decision-making. Our members are invited and encouraged to show up with their curiosity and excitement and to find ways to contribute to our budding community.

Through our meetings we hope to provide the soil (community) in which new seeds (ideas) can be planted, fertilized, and nourished, eventually growing to become healthy expressions of creativity (projects) that connect and support each other to give rise to a new eco-system (social structures).

Join us if you are:

• frustrated with the current way that your organization operates in terms of meetings, management, strategy, and execution, and you know there must be a better way;

• passionate about unleashing the potential of business as a force for good and aligning enterprise with purpose;

• sensing that there is a significant shift occurring in our social systems and wondering how it applies to organizations and how you can contribute to the transition;

• looking to connect with like-minded individuals who are also working to make our organizations function in a more healthy, dynamic, and life-affirming way
